We clean Rishikesh every week!
We conduct clean-up drives in Rishikesh every week! In Ganga beach, ghats, streets, roads, dirty spots…
Every corner of Rishikesh needs our attention and time! We plan to meet with our community every Sunday morning, and we gather for a few hours to do our seva and karma yoga.
How does it work?
– we communicate about the date and place in our WhatsApp community group & on Instagram
– we provide all the equipement: gloves, trash pickers, garbage bags, masks, water bottles…
– we clean as much as we can in a determinate place
– we call the truck which comes and takes all of the trash collected!
You just have to come with your soul and smile and help!
Why do we organise these clean-ups?
Organising clean-ups regularly is very important, and the more people contribute, the less trash we’ll see in our beautiful city!
By going on the field every week, we:
– prevent trash to accumulate in the same area
– reduce pollution before it reaches the Ganga
– protect local wildlife and natural ecosystems
– improve public health and safety
– raise awareness and inspire responsible behavior
– build a strong, engaged community of volunteers
Each clean-up is not just about collecting waste — it’s about changing habits, educating people, and creating a long-term impact for Rishikesh. Together, step by step, we can keep our city clean, sacred, and alive.
